Moving
Details are finally starting to fall into place and I am starting to panic less. I got confirmation this morning that I will be able to pick up keys to the new place on Friday, so we have all weekend to move. YAY and BIG sigh of relief - no homeless kitties! We were very afraid we would not be able to get into the new place until Monday, leaving us with nowhere to go on Sunday after we have to be out at noon. I can handle me and Jimi crashing somewhere for a night, but what to do with Mocha and Kildare was much more a problem. Now it is not and that was really the thing that had me most worried about this move.
We may try to move some boxes Fri night but most of the moving will be on Sat. And we can use any help we can get. We will love you forever and ever - we will even feed you. I really want everything done Sat so that we can use Sun morning for cleaning. I don't know exactly what time we'll start, probably as early as we can drag ourselves out of bed, so anytime people feel like showing up is great. Just give us a call to figure out exactly where we are.
And now I must go rescue Kildare from herself. She has a natural kittenish love for being in small spaces and I think also a fear that we are packing everything up and are going to forget her. She must explore boxes. She must ensure she is not left behind. She must pack herself in the box! It's cute, but I have to make sure no box gets taped with her in it. And since she is managing to crawl inside boxes and reclose them behind her... yeah.
