I get up at 8:00 this morning, shower, brush my teeth, work on Twelfth Night a little bit, read, and have a cup of tea.
At 9:30 Andrew (my roommate, who drives, unlike me) is ready to drive into town, and since I have to open the store this morning, I tag along.
Arriving at the store at around 9:37, I check my schedule and discover that, in fact, I'm not on 'til 2:00.
And that's why I'm writing in my Livejournal after such a long absence.
For those of you who don't know the story yet (and if anyone, still, in fact, reads this), I'm in Provincetown, MA with a group of kids from my school trying to start a Shakespeare company. Provincetown is the Gay mecca of the US and is entirely overstimulating. My day job is at the Human Rights Campaign "Action Center and Store," basically working retail and occasionally engaging in discussion and/or explanation about gay rights, why we need them, and what we're doing about it.
Let me just say that, if you're reading this, it's probably been a hell of a long time since we've communicated, and it's 99% certain that I miss you a whole lot. I miss last summer's adventures with Sarah Bob and Kacey and Joel in particular right now.
And if your name is Katharine Mangold...well, it goes without saying.
But, this entry sounds a little melancholy, which is not the mood I'm in right now. I'm actually quite pleased. Yes, I need a break from Provincetown (been here a little over a month) and my job, but that's all one. I wanted to supply you all, that I miss terribly, with a little update. I'm sorry they can't be more frequent, but my internet access here is extremely limited, otherwise you'd all know my life here down to every detail and minute emotion.
I miss my BFA's. I miss...gasp...Minneapolis.
I'm twenty years old as of a week ago--weird. I think I started writing in Livejournal when I was...sixteen?
I must go, my dears. I miss and love you all!
