I got a boyfriend for the weekend...
So, this was a good weekend. Jake came down to Athens friday, and we went out drinking after the longest shift of work I have worked in MY LIFE!! Drinks were much needed, but they worked too fast because I hadn't eaten in about 9 hours. Then we pretended we were still dating...and you know how that goes....it was a good night.
The following day Jake went off to Brew Fest, and I just chilled at home (I'm not much of a beer fan). Then we got together later that night to see Jump Little Children at the Georgia Theatre. They were amazing, and the show was awesome (loooong, but awesome..) but I'm starting to not like the Goergia Theatre. Their sound system blows. The guy doing harmony was about 10 times louder than the lead, so it sounded really messed up. Then when they were playing one of their most popular songs, the mic went out...so the audience sang the rest of the song for them. It was pretty cool actually, even though it sucked. His response after the song was "I am so pissed off right now and so in love with you guys....Damn. I'm all fucked up now. So what do you guys wanna do?" It was quite funny and endearing. Then one of the guys in the band tried to crowd surf (he obviously didn't notice the MASS population of NERDS that showed up!), he got about 3 feet out and they rolled him back on stage because no one could hold him (he's not a big guy either!). We were so close though that when he rolled back on stage, he was held up by my friend Marge, and since she saw the perfect opportunity, she smacked his ass a few times.
Sunday was laid back. Ate a nice candle lit breakfast with Jake, laid around..I went off to work. When I came back we went out to dinner and then rented a few movies. It was sucha nice and pleasant weekend. I'm gunna miss sleeping with someone. Sleeping alone gets to me after a while. Hopefully it won't be another 6 months until I see him again...but you never know.
