Yay actors!
Nicolas Cage seems to be growing on me. I mean, I've always been fond of him, but because of Ghost Rider I've been rewatching my favourite films of his, and I've got to say, he's a really good actor! He's not extraordinarily attractive, I think the man's had a receeding hairline since his first film, but he manages to look good because of his personality. Some of my favourites are Face/Off (of course!), Con-Air, Snake Eyes and Vampire's Kiss. I highly recommend anyone wanting to have a Nic Cage marathon watch at least a few of these films. And the other night I saw Matchstick Men, which is also highly awesome. Kind of... well, predictable unfortunately. But it's so predictable that it had me doubting whether it was actually predictable at all, which was a lot of fun. I *heart* his character in that movie! An OCD conman, and a buttshot! Pygmies! I don't necessarily have favourite actors so much as favourite films... but I've got to say Nic Cage would definately have to be making his way to the top of my favourites list.
I have noticed that a lot of his characters smoke, though, but I can't find any evidence as to whether or not he himself smokes. I also can't get any good shots of his tattoos. *sniffle* And the one on his back is often described as a lizard wearing a tophat... but he says that it's supposed to be a chinese dragon (what he thought was his zodiac sign... but it's actually a hare *snicker*). Now, if I could just find a good shot of the damned thing I would be able to figure out which description is right. Also, I would love to see his Ghost Rider tattoo. I've seen the bottom part of it in the movie itself (haha, they forgot the makeup) but not all of it. And I would really love to know which is right.
