Drabble - An exercise

“You’re doing what?”

“Extracting a relic in an archeological dig.”

“Are you insulting me now?”  He asked, half jokingly.

“Oh, never.”  Her voice was a husky purr.

“Here now... what are you doing with that?”  Apprehension crept into his voice.

“Be still.”

The knife sliced through the cloth like it was butter.

He yelped.

“I told you to wear old clothes, didn’t I?”

“But I like this sweater!”

“Too late.”

“Careful!”

“If you are very, very still, there will be less risk of damage.”

He swallowed nervously.  His heart pounded hard in his chest as he tried not to move.
