If you know me, chances are good that by now you know that there's also a Maserati bearing my name.

I just found a website where you can purchase the chrome logo script for the car.

It's ¥ 12,000, which translates into about $150 USD.

That's too much. It's too expensive. I just have to keep telling myself that. Lord almighty, but I want it.

I'd wait a little while and check eBay.

eBay checked. They have the actual *car* on there, but no chrome logo.

...if only I had about 50k to blow and a place to put it. Oh, and if I knew how to drive stick shift...

It is important to know how to drive a stick. It is also fun. If ever we are with one another and my car happens to be there, I would be happy to teach you.

Thank you!

I also have a friend up here who has offered to teach me, though I haven't yet taken him up on it. I only just started driving again in May/June, and it's taken me a couple months to get solidly comfortable with an automatic again :)

Autos generally make me nervous. (I learned how to drive by driving a stick.) The only car I've been glad was an auto was my giant 1987 F-150. I don't like shifting giant transmissions for giant engines in giant vehicles. Something about length of travel? Not too sure.

My car has a CVT transmission, which is a little...different...from a standard auto. It revs high fairly quickly, and doesn't have a distinctive gear change. I'm not 100% sure I like it, but I'm definitely getting used to it.
