Dunedin Public Library has an amazing CD collection

I have never seen another library with a better music collection. I'm seriously considering hacking together an RSS feed of all the new CDs they buy just so I can find out about good music. Music lovers in Tampa, it's worth the drive. Bring your Tampa library card. You can check out up to 10 at a time per person, so get picky, bring a laptop, or bring lots of friends and have a CD-importing party when you get home.

Here's what I got:

A New Found Glory - Nothing gold can stay
The Actual Tigers - Gravelled & green
The Aquabats! - The fury of the Aquabats
Beta Band - The Beta Band
Beta Band - Hot shots II
Mel Brooks - The producers the new Mel Brooks musical : original Broadway cast recording.
The Donnas - The Donnas turn 21
The Donnas - Get skintight
The Donnas - Spend the night
Flogging Molly - Within a mile of home
Jimmy Eat World - Futures
MxPx - Before everything & after
Rise Against - Siren song of the counter culture
The Strokes - Room on fire
Richard Thompson - Mock tudor
Van Halen - Best of. Volume I
Andrew Lloyd Webber - Cats complete original Broadway cast recording
Andrew Lloyd Webber - Starlight Express the original cast
The White Stripes - The White Stripes

And that's just the CDs that they had on the shelf before I ran out of room in the crook of my arm. (Yes, they have shopping baskets, too, but I didn't want to be too greedy.) I still have to come back and get some They Might Be Giants. And their Dashboard Confessional, All-American Rejects, and Decemberists CDs are checked out -- to name a few out of many I'd like to listen to.
