Dearest Readers,
God loves me, and has once again proven that fact in the series of fortunate events that has recently transpired.
1) My mother has accepted a position at a competitor's bank - I was nervous, as she was leaving her employer of around twenty years - having finally gotten fed up with how they have treated their employees for the last two years or so. I was scared that her frustration would ultimately lead to her taking a significant step back in her career, salary, benefits, etc. Not so...
She recieved a signing bonus, a significant raise, a large increase in vacation time, increased stock options, and other loverly incentives, and never even devolved into playing one offer off of the other.
2) Through a series of convoluted twists and turns, I played a significant role in getting my best friend's mother a job as a Federal Defender.
3) My sister just got married to a great guy up in Maryland.
4) I just found out that I was selected to be a member of the VIS International Arbitration Team for my school, which likely means getting to go to Vienna next semester!
5) And I get to go to Clanthia this weekend!!!
Life is good boys and girls! And I hope that each of you get all the wonderful things that you want and deserve in the upcoming months!
