Gah.

Note to self: reading Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child novels (specifically, The Relic and then Reliquary) before going to bed is a really f-ing stupid ideaI don't care if I've read them before; they're still scary enough that now I can't sleep. Or rather, every time I start falling asleep I have to force myself to wake up from the beginnings of ( Read more... )

Just think of something peaceful, like folk dance. Happy, gentle, folk dance. Maybe the sort of English country dances they did in Pride & Prejudice...up until the point when the zombies attacked and tried to eat their brains.

To steal a quote from Willow on Buffy, occasionally, I am callous and strange. ;)

Wow, what a perfect place for me to post this link: Jane Austen Zombies.

Yep, the reason I made that comment was because I'd already posted about that story in my own journal. The world needs to know about the undead threat to Lizzy Bennett, Mr. Darcy, and their associates!

GCD is holding a "Dance with Jane Austin" dance this afternoon and evening. I am giving vague consideration to showing up dressed as a zombie.

Truly, that will be a glorious day. For now, I was glad for your link, because the comments were more entertaining than on the article I'd previously seen.

BTW, I've added you as an LJ friend, if you don't mind.

That is splendid. My ego, which for some reason is
closely tied to how people receive links I pass along, is
already on the highway to recovery.

P.S. I added you as well. Thrill at my lack of recent
posts.

Don't fear. Your taste in links is impeccable (based on a sample size of one).

Welcome to the f-list. I am not exactly a regular poster myself, though I've been trying to be better lately.
