By power to be productive all weekend has been sabotaged by all the uni's servers gone down, which means I can't access any of their websites and therefore can't get journals that I need to read. Not just that I think would be good to read, but need to read because Astrobiology baby us and have assigned us what journal articles to read for our assignment on that infamous Martian meterorite froma few years ago. I blame the inordinant number of computing/electronics students in the course who haven't got the slightest clue or interest in biology, geology or astronomy. This course really needs better prerequistes so that those of us who ahev the skills and interest to tackle this topic can learn some meaningful things. I did learn last week though that apparently radio astronomers have found 15 signals in space of what might be Dyson Spheres - big spheres built around stars to capture all their energy. Thats worth knowing.
Wow, entry purely about uni work. Meh.
