“Beebee was very nice to us,” Ethan sat close to Luke and his little head was one big enthusiastic nod. Natalie joined him. She looked up to Luke and declared: “I’m glad you gave us Beebee. He’s funny.”
Luke looked lost and Reid raised his finger. “That would be me,” he stated while chewing.
THIS SO ADORABLY CUTE! I am so charmed with your description of that domestic scene...
I'm doing my 'it's Monday and I have a new chapter to read' happy dance. I'll have to come back to review properly, I only have time to read for now...but from what I skimmed while getting to the bottom to post this...you've outdone yourself...and possibly Lily isn't a complete idiot. Off to read...I may appear slightly manic to onlookers, must stop happy dance...
Don't stop dancing because of 'what others might think' ! Here, let me join you! Doing the happy dance because I loved your comment and it made me laugh out loud!
Ok, I'm back with my gushing praises...Luke and Reid's curls, does it get better then that? I just don't think so! Faith making Reid breakfast, and her comment about his smile, I think I squeed a little. Then the bee bee comment, total heart meltage. Faith ratting out Noah's despicable behavior? Excellent! The fact that Lily even needed to be told about this...sad. The fact that she finally got a clue...maybe there's hope for her yet. I also loved Faith's comment about Lily and the gun...yes Lily, people still remember the crazy...even if Reid was wayyyyy too understanding about the whole thing. I get it, but he's probably a better man than I am a woman, because MIL or not, there'd probably be some charges pressed. Thank goodness my MIL isn't from Oakhell. And back to the story...I was impressed that Luke backed-off and let Faith deal with it her way...I'm seeing a lot of good in your Faith. I was also impressed with the way Reid handled working on Hallowe'en...from pout to pride, excellent work Reid! On to Reid in a tux...I feel my

When I get these scenes in my head, it's up to me to find to words to recapture that feeling, that energy. And sometimes - with my limited vocabulary - I'm not sure I did. But after reading your feedback, I could tell I did in this chapter. Funny detail: you mention the details I loved too.
And believe me...Reid is a better man than I'm a woman too, because I would be way more mad. But what I get from (my) Reid is some sort of (over)exaggerated respect for parents. I'm not sure where it's coming from. My version of Reid didn't had very warm parents, so maybe it's been a grandparent who installed that in him.
Who knows...maybe it will come out one day:-) For now, I honestly don't have a clue.
Thanks for taking the time to share your gushing praises, hahaha. Loved them!

And yeah, I feel Luke as very emotional (a classic leaker:-)) and to be honest...Van did a great job with upset!Luke, so I didn't mind:-))
But I absolutely agree with you: Vive la difference! :-))))
