Well, after chatting with Steve last night, I just posted an add on Petfinder.com putting the wonderful Iris up for adoption to a suitable home. With Steve not renewing his lease, he won't be able to take care of her after April, and neither will I, so I decided that finding her a good, apropriate home was the best solution, and in her best interests. It still pulls at my heart a little, though. She's such a sweetheart...
