I spent $75 at Ocean State Job Lot today with my mother's boyfriend. For all who do not have this fantastic store in their area, $75 could buy 2/7 of the entire building.
*AHEM*
-$1 Blueberry preserves
-$3 Shirt that will disintegrate if wet
-A truckload of smooth, white folders all for.. $1!
And I don't know what in the hell he bought, but I assume it was damn near 62 things.
I went to the (woman's/"young ladies") community service meeting again tonight. I am very sure that I'm the only non-wealthy girl there.. it's kind of weird sometimes.
Sort of relevant: I must find/make/obtain in any fashion $250 to fly out to California in June before work starts. Oh dear..
Oh! This must be the most fantastic schoolweek on record:
Monday: No school because of a faculty meeting.
Tuesday: Early Dismissal because of snow.
Wednesday: 90 Minute Delay because of snow.
Thursday: 90 Minute Delay because of snow.
Friday, today: No school because of snow. So um, in other words, snow day.
Sure, I mean, I haven't seen the sun since early Monday morning.. but that is a sacrifice I was willing to make!
