List of things that have gone wrong since yesterday:
Niece rams head into steel I-beam at work. Must leave work early to fetch her. After an hour at the emergency care, no concussion just a contusion. Needs a check up again today before she can drive. Will have to take time off from work to get her there.
Son announces he has an ear ache, which after a nice doctor's appointment.. ear infection. Must get antibiotics. More time off work.
Daughter gets accompanied onto school bus by big ass stray dog. Friendly as hell, just not mine. So tons of fun removing said dog from the school bus. No one harmed and hoping he's found somewhere else to be before she has to stand out there again.
Boss who is traveling to Switzerland with me finds out her mother needs an emergency surgery to install a pacemaker.
8 hours of waiting to hear if trip is canceled or I'm going solo.. (NO, that's not happening thank you kindly!) Surgery goes well. Boss decides to continue trip...
Frantic rush around the office to gather items for trip while everyone decides today is the day to visit/chat... stay an hour later than planned.
Go to pick up antibiotics. Wait 45 minutes. Find out they are out, will have to go somewhere else. Will be late for dinner arrangements. But they managed to find some in a new shipment they just got, so only a little late.
I still have 14 hours left..and not even packed yet. Not even sure I've got everything I need. Still not convinced I'm going.
Time to thwap the kid again. He's going to have to learn to stop mentioning my luck..
