It aint nothin' if it aint got hole?
Thumb update:
went to the Dr's today ( getting a very sleepy boyf out of bed to drive at 10am!). The good news is that they dont think the thumb's broken. The Bad news is that the bleeding under the nail and skin is really bad ( which explains why the top half of my thumb is black - clotted blood- and red where it's not black!). The solution - relive the pressure. This took 30 minutes - my GP burned/drilled a hole in my nail, broke the blood clot underneath, syringed a lot of the blood out and the rest hopefully should drain through the hole in the next few days...thus reducing the swelling.
I have a dressing on which must stay dry and should use my right hand as little as possible. This gets me out of the washing up but means there's a delay in the delivery of the second part of the harpy report for the Northern Regional and also of the Peterborough game last Friday. This was typed with my left hand only - which took longer than I care to admit!
On the other hand you're spared a blow by blow account of RAW and Smackdown - and just how amazing the Undertaker is in person ( and he's downright earie on TV!).
Thanks to those who have expressed Sympathy, WWE envy and stories. everyone else for putting up with my lousy typing! And special mention to Boyf as I'm like a bear with a sore head when I'm in pain.
