Red Liquorice makes me bouncy! :P
Hi! Hii! Hi! :)
- 1 - Today I've been a really bad girl-on-a-diet and I've binged on red liquorice!!! It was totally worth it because it was really yummy!!!! So I don't feel guilty at all, go me!
- 2 - I've seen the new Stargate SG1... I <3 Vala! *pines for Farscape*
- 3 -I've started rereading George R.R.Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series... and my A Game of Thrones paperback was so worn out that it fell apart on me this week, literally *wails* Alas, my paperbacks of ACoK and ASoS also look quite worn out... That and the fact that I only own AFfC on hard cover propelled me into shopping mood, and I ordered the first three books hard cover editions off Amazon!! I hope they arrive here any day this week.
- 4 - I'm way to excited about the BSG season three trailer... *spazzes*
(beware, I'm going to fangirl about Superman Returns below in a crazy fargirly way)
- 5 - I'm in love with Superman Returns! I've seen it twice this week and I wish I could see it again! When I saw it for the first time, I wasn't expecting to love this movie so much, but I did... so yesterday I saw it again, and squeed like the fangirl I am! The movie made me full of glee and full of SQUEE, I just have no words to describe how much I love this movie! I love that this Superman is so human, without being sappy... of and he is ANGSTY, and y'all know I love me some angst! :P I also loved Lex in his cunning vengeful kinda way, oh! And he is a freaking scary villain that when confronted with Superman doesn't bore him (or us) with endless monologues... and he lets his minions do the dirty work for him EEE! Did anybody else notice the picture of Glenn Ford (Clark's dad in the Superman the movie) in the Kent's home? I loved that! The John Ottman's music score was superb, and they kept the main titles John Williams composed *jumps up and down in fangirly excitement* ... Oooh! Superman's curl was awesome!!!!! Brandon Routh was so fantastic as both nerdy Clark and Superman.... and HOT! Yay for my shallowness *hee* Oh, and Freaking Peta "La Femme Nikita" Wilson! She appeared briefly at the beginning of the movie. Now, I'm just looking forward to Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest to come out next moth *woes*, I cannot wait!!!
- 6 - OMFGBBQ! I've seen the trailer of Christopher Nolan's new movie and I'm a puddle of squeeful drool! And not only because I love Christopher Nolan's movies and style !!! The movie is called The Prestige, and is based on a book called "The Prestige" by Christopher Priest about a pair of rival stage illusionists in turn-of-the-century London, each has a illusion the other craves... I had this book in my "to read" pile but I haven't gotten around to read it yet, though a friend of mine swears by this book and says it's one of her favorites. And last but not least, HUGH JACKMAN and CHRISTIAN BALE are the leads in the movie, which also features Scarlett Johansson and Michael Caine... I'll say it again, freaking Hugh Jackman and freaking Christian Bale!!! OMG!
