I <3 Bank holidays!!
Today and tomorrow are bank holidays here in Spain. May 1 is Labor Day and May 2 is El Día de la Comunidad de Madrid ("Madrid's Day", my translation), which is a bank holiday only in Madrid! I've taken a break, and left The Opos of Doom study for Wednesday, so now I'm indulging in all my mindless fun projects!! Wheee!
Yesterday, my friend T came over, and we had lunch together, I cooked roast chicken, which she loves... and later we discovered that BSG + a ton of Chocolate Ice Cream + lots of Diet Coke equals a fabulous afternoon!!! We watched the whole miniseries, 33, and Water and loved them! :D .... I miss Lee flying a viper a LOT!!!
Today, I've indulged in some Brat Pack looooove and watched The Breakfast Club and Pretty in Pink. When I saw Kate Vernon in Pretty in Pink I totally freezed the image and screamed ELLLLEEEEEEEEN!!! *insert silly laughs here* :P ...
Also, I've just received a lovely e-mail from amazon UK telling me that my order, containing Sharpe's Challenge, Doctor Who series 2 dvd 1, and P.G.Wodehouse's What ho!, has just been dispatched... EEE! If I'm lucky everything will be here for the weekend, if not, I'll have to wait until next week to get it :)

BSG related stuff del día:
- Katee Sackhoff related news: the trailer for The Last Sentinel is up on its official site (CLICK ME!)... The trailer has this direct-to-video and b-movie feel all over it... action, cheesy special effects, exposions, erm... Don The Dragon Wilson, cheap sci-fi military look, nameless foes with matching outfits and swords, Katee being badass, shootings... yadda yadda. I guess I will end up seeing it, because it's Katee and, hey, I admit it, thanks to my super crappy movies fan friends (including my BF) I've come to enjoy watching tons of craptastic movies such as Arachnid, Comodo, Anacondas (<- this one was so much fun to watch really), White Dragon, ... you name it, I've most likely seen it.... Surprisingly, some times we even come across some flicks that aren't what we expected, and they are great in their own special kinda way... so I guess I'll see both the Last Sentinel and White Noise 2 as soon as one of my friends get a copy :D
