I dreamt of being chased by a gunman last Saturday night T_T was it something I ate? No more pizzas for me for awhile…It’s bad enough that a gunman was terrorizing the shopping area I happened to be in, he’s also mad. You know how insane people can be more terrifying than the normal criminal…because they are insane, there’s no reasoning with them. And, I wanted to protect the people who where hiding too, so I did a lot of distracting when the madman was near someone’s hiding place. We were crouched down crawling and hiding in a maze of bookshelves, I would stand up and lure him to my area when I saw him move near someone else =_= what a nightmare…no wonder I woke up so tensed.
Been so tired and rushed lately I don't even have time to blog. I’ll just…try to type whatever I can remember of my life the past...3 weeks? Major happenings would be...
Teambuilding event - In which a bunch of us from the same department were dispatched to some remote resort in Perak to urm...strengthen our teamwork. For 3 days (inclusive of a weekend. MAI PRECIOUS WEEKEND SOBS). It's not a 5 star resort mind you. And the only convenience store sells a can of 100plus at RM2...
The activities were fun though. Building a bamboo raft and going out in the middle of the sea on it with only a lifejacket and no swimming ability was surprisingly fun too. I regret there not being more time to play around in the sea, the water was quite clean. Jungle tracking almost killed me. The track just kept going up, and up, and UP. I love jungles, but this one had way too many insects and it would have been fun if they didn't make us balance a bottle of water all the way. Imagine balancing a bottle of water while climbing a steep path. There also this dance-exercise thing that was fun. It’s called…poco-poco. The music was so uplifting. I’m also happy I got the team members I ended up with. They’re nice people. And, oh, I really loved the bus ride. What. I just love bus rides. This was a 3-hour ride so more yays :p
Big Bad Wolf Book warehouse sales - In which I have used up a lot of my cash and mom tells me not to spend on books for the next...few...months. Which will be next to impossible so I need to think of what else to sacrifce. It was book heaven though, ‘cause there were a lot of fiction books. Although, it kinda hurt seeing books I previously bought at normal price being sold for RM8 each. The result of the sale - more books piled up waiting for me to read. I’m not exaggerating when I say the mountains of books are starting to spill over. I’m really running out of space to put them…
Wii joins the console family - In addition to the PS2, PSP, and DS Lite, I now have a brand new Wii. I was a bit hesitant to get it at this time at first, since I recently got a PSP and a DS, but I’m glad I bought it. Since it’s the one console that caught my dad’s interest. It was hilarious seeing him attempting boxing with the remote and nunchuk. I haven’t laughed so hard since…I don’t know when. And I love the innovative motion controls. I’ll have to get a 2nd controller set soon. This console is meant to be played with someone else.
Am now addicted to Tales of Symphonia - Dawn of the New World. I missed playing a ‘Tales of’ game. Emil and his split personality is. So. CUTE. And it’s so nostalgic replaying Klonoa - Door to Phantomile on the Wii. They changed the voices a bit, but I still love the game. Also, once Mana Khemia 2 comes out for PS2 it’s goodbye P4 XD;;; argh so many games so little time. And patience. I’m not the kind to switch between RPGs, it sort of loses the ‘feel’ of the story if I switch too much…
I want a zapper. Would be a nice stress reliever to play some shooting games once in a while XD
I now have a problem though. With 4 consoles, unread books practically spilling over the spare bed I use as a table and all these artbooks…and what with coming home late from work and feeling so blardy sleepy everyday…how do I find the time to complete them alllll *cries*
We finally assembled the glass casing display cabinet thing for my models. Most of my models are from gashopon or those random boxes, but it’s nice to see the bigger ones in a place where the dust won’t reach easily. Since my room has this mysterious ability to sprout dust from nothing. Gwen looks lovely in the cabinet. So does Vincent and Cerberus <3 And I can finally put my Suiko models somewhere I can see them without worrying about dust. Those would be so tiresome to clean, with all those little parts…
Somehow though, acquiring all these things in such a short time…leaves a strange feeling in me. Maybe I feel like I’m being too materialistic? All these books…and no time to read them. All these games…and no time to enjoy them. Sigh. I mean- I’m happy. But, here’s just that something. A little nagging feeling that bothers me. I used to enjoy shopping, but now it’s like, there’s nothing special about it anymore…I just feel tired. It’s so not like me.
Sorry, this update is starting to turn into the usual emo ramblings…
Btw, my PC crashed and my streamyx’s down so I haven’t been online much. The office connection is monitored so I can’t go to twitter and most other sites…I think I’ll send my PC to the shop…uh…hmm. Next Saturday’s a public holiday. Other than Saturdays I’ll be at work and the shop’s closed on Sundays. Guess it’ll have to wait another week…I really hope I don’t lose the data.
Well, that’s a lot of updates for one post. I’ll just stop here. Besides, I’m finding it harder and harder to remember things…gosh I feel like an old lady sometimes XD;
