despite the ending of this story, it was starting to break my heart just to see how things were going between them. only to have the Haitian show up and return things to how they were before. it would've been interesting to see a different ending for them, but I like where this was going to as well.

and yeah, I totally caught on to the Buffy-type references as well. "Something Blue" was a great episode. Xander's lovely outburst was classic & I'm really surprised Noah didn't behave in such a way here.

Well I wanted the ending close to the "Something Blue" ending. Believe me, there's nothing I want more than a canon Sylaire happily ever after lol. Besides it wouldn't have been natural. And isn't that always better? So yeah, I decided to leave the door open for that - hence why Sylar didn't just storm out of the house.

And there's a reason Noah didn't act like Xander. He was supposed to be the Giles of the fic ;)
