Yeah, making him pick is just... I had to do it, it's so fitting, and it's another example of the mind games the guards play with him that keep him so subdued and down.

I loved that "Mind Fuck". It could have sucked ass if they made him actually chose, then threw the choice back in his face (they would have both hated him ... he would have hated himself). That poor kooky threesome!

Oh, I'm still loving this characterisation! And the little truce, Claire taking the brunt of the attacks for Maya, and then Maya helping her - so cool. I really feel sorry for Maya here, she loves Sylar, but hates him intensely at the same time. Poor thing!

Yeah, that mix of "I love you but I really hate your guts!" can really be fun to play with, and can be really hot too. It's an odd juxtaposition of feelings that just drains you but invigorates you at the same time.

Very glad you updated! Poor Claire and Maya, gut wrenching that rape had to bring them closer like that.

The things is that you can't be sure that it was the implied rape that brought them closer - other things may have happened too, and it's set up to be open-ended on purpose. The imagination can be so much more frightening than reality, so since Sylar doesn't know what happened (and won't), then he can only speculate... his musings are probably worse than whatever it was that happened.
