Third times the charm baby!!
I have seriously never been this happy in my entire life, last night beat summer 2004 in Fort Wellington. For those who have heard me talk about it, its pretty hard to beat...For the third year in a row awaiting another defeat I sang in the Gala Manitobain de la Chanson...and unlike the years past I actually won the competition, and I'm glad I did, and I see now that even though I would have been able to win the years before I don't think I would have as good of a chance as right now. The point in my life where I am is absolutely perfect for my choice of song and my whole singing capability, I am absolutely honoured to be a Gala winner, you have no idea...its been my dream since I learned about the Gala, and I couldnt be happier that it came true! On top of it I had the best supporters ever! last night ranging from some of my closes friends to my 8 year old cousin to old friends I wasnt expecting to see it was perfect!! Robert and Nathalie came with t-shirts for me!! how sweet is that?!?! I couldnt believe it! they were hilarious and I felt so special for once in my life something revolved around me and you need that sometimes, it made me feel alive and it felt great I felt happy, truly happy, My friend Mélanie, one of the only people I could stand in school (out of about 5 people) came with her mom! it was sooo cute!! she sat in the front row and I had to try really hard not to smile when I saw her cause I was in the middle of a sad song! My aunt Rita came with Yvan, Diego, Katrina, Annie, my adorable cousins!! Ma memère was there! Joelle was there! even the cute garderie kids I babysat for 4 days were there!!! Nicholas came up to me after super bubbly!! I love that kid!! Joel Guenette was there!!! I couldnt believe it!! I was sooo happy to see him and Eric came by himself which made me soo happy! Catherine, Valérie, My great aunts like wow even Alain and Nat came!!! My parents were sooo cute! haha my brother Pierre came with his gf haha and my little sister!! The best was going out after with Eric, Joel, Robert, Nathalie, Valérie and Adèle and Adam joined us for a bit, I just had to much fun! I cant even explain it!! And sorry for those I didnt call to hang out after I was in my little world, and you were with me in spirit! Wow! I needed this for a boost of happiness I didnt have before, I've been quite down lately I dont even know why but this really helped me strive! I feel like I can do anything! And Chant-Ouest next month!!! WOOO!! June 9!! in Winnipeg!!! thats so perfect! Man Nathalie, my cousin was so cute and supportive after so was all the other contestants...it was such a great night and nothing can burst my spirits right now!! I want to go and buy Crest wight strips now haha...to whiten that permanent smile!! haha I'm so cheesy! you better get used to it!! Anyways sorry that was alot of blabbering!!!
