ACen and beyond...
...well, and some stuff that's been going on since then.
It's been weird lately, but alright overall.
- Went to a funeral... those are never fun, but at least I had some good times with everyone at the reception and what not.
- Got my tax refund back, paid off a pretty good amount of my outstanding debt I've got. Also managed to finally get a new phone that works even when you open it all the way and doesn't require one to let it reset for about 10 minutes, heh.
- Been eating wayyy too much recently. Chicken wings, noodles, sushi, tacos, homecooked stuff, urgh... gotta lay off of it a little, at least.
- Our friend Tomo is now back in Japan for good, but at least we sent her off before that.
- Work has been less chaotic recently, now that inventory is done with. I'm still waking up for those 6am Tuesday morning shifts though.
- My bartending needs work. Need to read up on stuff since I've got a gig to do soon...
- Bought Arcana Heart, and it still remains the only fighting game that gives me headaches because it requires that much skill and thinking.
- Bought Persona 3: Fes... and like Persona 3, I've been playing the hell outta the game. I've been mostly concentrating on the "The Journey", the remixed original adventure so far.
- Drummania continues to be fun. Passed Herring Roe EXT (97), MODEL DD4 EXT (98), under control EXT (96), and Funky sonic world EXT (93) just this past week. Still baffled by over there EXT though, looking to pass that soon.
- Super Smash Brawl is fun. I still continue to use only two characters, King DeDeDe and Mr. Game and Watch.
EDIT: OK, so I knew Persona 4 was coming out in Japan soon. But on July 11?! And on top of that... there's a Konamistyle Special Edition package? KONAMI?! I didn't even know they had anything to do with the series...
What's on tap? Well, ACen is around the corner... but what the hell is going on? I'm still planning to go but what I plan to do there is way up in the air. No plans of any sort at the moment, other than participating in the IIDX tourney. Plan to at least meet up with Pernell, Malcolm, Arnell, Leslie, and some other outta-state visitors though.
Japan is also on my schedule in July. Hopefully I'll be able to meet up with people there too... but its looking like I've got less time for play this time around though. And as soon as I get back from Japan, it'll be time for me to look for another job. Not looking to stay at Target for the rest of my life, heh.
