...well, not quite, but I'm mos def interested now that Fukudome is now a Cub.
Yup, another Japanese player into the MLB, and this one is a doozy. To be honest, I haven't really personally hyped up a Japanese MLB acquisition yet. I mean, I knew who Nomo, Matsui, Sasaki, or Matsuzaka were, but I didn't really pay too much attention to them in the J-Leagues. Fukudome hails from the Chunichi Dragons, which are my dad's hometown fav and also the one team I followed the most while in Japan. This dude was pretty good for his team too. I have great faith in this outfielder, hopefully he'll put himself onto the map.
