A while back my Thunderbird crashed and took all my archives with it. Don't know how or why. Anyway, I never reinstalled it. I've been using gmail through its web interface and have to say I'm kind of liking it. I'm not drawn to check it all the time. I don't get the little "oooh I've got mail" notices. They've added some side bar features that are useful -- like having your calendar there-- and have made it easy to get rid of the annoying chat feature (sorry guys but when you work out of a place with huge firewalls the chat feature was just plain useless and dumb). So, inadvertently I have simplified my internet life and time. For once a crash was a good thing.
Now if only I could get rid of cell phone and cable. To whit I'm considering the pay as you go or 99 cent a day phone, cuz dude I downgraded our plan and we still have a gazillion rollover minutes. And cable v. netflix. Would my husband survive with out his cooking shows? Hmmmmm.....
