Decatur
Hey everyone, I'm writing to you from Decatur, Alabama where I'll be staying for a month to help my grandma out recovering from her hip replacement.
Just so that everyone knows, ITALY WON THE WORLD CUP! And apparently, I'm a big soccer/football fan now. hehe. But I was rooting for Italy since day 1 so... yeah. Hurrah! And wtf ZIDANE??!! It was such an intense game and it makes me want to go play soccer 24/7 now. Good thing I could pack my soccer ball in my suitace (tehe).
So I'm getting pretty serious about soccer. Mike and I wanna start an IM team for chiefs. Mwhaha. I need tons more training... and maybe one day I'll take on Mr. Steve-o. Since playing soccer, I've gotten a hurt (broken-ish?) nose, bloody lip, offset jaw, and tons of bruises. I love this sport - why did I ever quit??
I also went running today and accidently woke up at 6:30am because I forgot to reset my PDA to central time - gah. I'm sore all over, and you know what? It's great.
I can't wait till fall - my apartment. I totally saw the desk I want and the entertainment center I want... eek!
Oh, I also had a garage sale and sold my surfboard for $200. The whole sale brought in nearly $300... so yeah, now I can pay myself back for my iPod. Good thing I'm getting $3,000 this month - hurray for paying rent, fees, food, and education.
