Writer's Block: Investigations of a Female Nature

When I was in high school, my best friend and I read her mom's Trixie Belden books.  She had most of the series. They were 30 years old and falling apart, but we loved them.  Allie would read them first, then pass them on to me.  I don't remember much of anything about them, though, because I have the memory of a goldfish.

I never read Nancy Drew. After I posted this I Googled Trixie Belden to refresh my memory, and one site said that since Trixie and Nancy are almost exact opposites, most people who like one tend to dislike the other. Which I thought was interesting.
