Part 7:The Dark Time
Date: 5 April 199X
Sound of shutters could be heard on the roof of a building. Since he had enough pictures of roads and parks, Akihito decided to ride an elevator into a rooftop restaurant to take photo of the city. The wind was strong, however, it did not stop Akihito to capture a beautiful shot. He tried his best to ignore the two presences of guards behind, observing him with sharp eyes. Luckily, there were not so many people in the restaurant to see him followed by two grown up adults like a child. Asami must have threatened them to follow me all the time. That over-protective bastard never let me go alone. Despite his dislike to be watched almost 24 hours, he understood perfectly that this was for his own good. It made him feel better that Asami cared about him in his unique unusual way. Another click was heard, indicating to the last shot of the day. I better be on my way. It’s almost night time. Putting the camera on the bag that Asami had so kindly bought for him, he made his way to the lift with another two giant followed. His finger pressed the button and he waited until the lift door opened. After pressing the ground floor button, he rested his back on one of the wall, waiting impatiently for the lift’s door to open again. In the middle, the lift stopped just a few floors above his destination. To Akihito’s surprise, five big men lunge an attack towards them. Of course they would lose since they were outnumber. Being in the small are made it hard for Akihito to fight back, especially since one big man guard the door, closing his only escape route. Akihito remembered when the two guards were knocked out cold as he struggled to free himself from one of the man strong grip. He almost kicked the man on the shin before the man put a handkerchief on his mouth. Shit! Asami. thought Akihito as he felt his head getting heavier and finally drifted to unconsciousness.

People did not need to be a psychic to know Asami feeling at the very moment. Even Kirishima could tell with just one glance. His boss was angry, and not just his usual angry. It was hundred times more severe. He was very furious. His golden eyes glinted dangerously, promising nothing desirable for those who were stupid enough to take the boy away from him.
“Kirishima, call the guards to come here immediately. I want to hear the full report from them. Call Suoh to come also.” roared Asami, startled the secretary.
“Yes, Asami-sama.” said Kirishima hurriedly before he took a quick step to escape the angry lion’s den. After the secretary left, Asami quickly punched a number that he knew so well on his phone. Asami waiting impatiently as heard the ringing sound from the speaker until a voice came.
“Hello.”
“Are you the one who kidnapped Akihito?” said Asami to the point.
“I see that the young man has influence you, Ryuuichi. Even I expect a greeting when my son called me.” replied Ryou.
“I repeat, Where….Is….Akihito?” Asami voice was icy cold. Right now he was in no mood to play with his father.
“Relax, Ryuuichi. For your information, I don’t kidnap your boy. Even though it’s up to you whether to believe it or not.” It silenced Asami a while. He knew his father was not lying. He stayed with him long enough to know that his father would chose to remain quite rather than telling a lie.
“Okay, I believe you for now.” said Asami emphasize on the ‘for now’, showing that he did not trust Ryou fully, as he ended the call. Akihito, where are you?

Fifteen minutes later, he had already heard a full report from the guards and dispatched a group of men to search for Akihito. While waiting for any news, he spent the next fifteen minutes giving the two guards a ‘little’ remainder of his earlier warning if they ever lost sight of Akihito. Feeling a bit satisfied that he had vented a small portion of his anger, he left the cell room. Right now, his first priority was to find Akihito safe and sound. His worried kept increasing with each passing moments when his men had not report anything on finding his Akihito. Two hours had passed. As he sat on his chair, his mind trailed back, trying to figure anyone that would do such a thing. The problem was he had many enemies and he was not sure which one took Akihito. His phone ringtone disturbed his thought. Suoh. This better be good.
“Asami-sama, we manage to borrow the security camera from the building. Luckily, it recorded the event when Takaba-san was kidnapped.”
“And, do you find anything?” asked Asami.
“After watching the video, we recognise that two of the captors belong to the Amori Group.”
“I see. Where is Amori right now?”
“We check his office, but no one was there, Sir.” Asami’s heart sank. There was possibility that Akihito was with him at this very moment. “I don’t care what method you use. Find him at once.” shouted Asami to his phone. He immediately pressed the end button after that. He remembered that two weeks ago he managed to snatch away a lot of Amori group shareholders, causing them to lose a large sum of money. The company itself was in the verge of bankruptcy these few days. So you want to play with me eh, Amori. You’ll regret as once I find you, I’ll make sure to return the favour fifty folds.

Akihito could feel the coldness of the air as he regained consciousness. He did not dare to open his eyes as he knew that he had been kidnapped again by stranger. He tried to move his arms a bit, but he could not. He realised he must been tied up in a chair since he noticed that he was in sitting position. He heard footsteps coming to him. He could not help but yelp when a bucket of water thrown at him. He opened his eyes. The first thing that greeted him was a black haired man in his thirties wearing a suit, standing in the middle of the room. The man’s blue eyes showed so much hatred in them. He himself surrounded by five men and from what Akihito could remember they were his captors. Only then he saw himself shirtless.
“Awake at last.” The blue eyes man broke the silence.
“Who the heck are you?”
“I must say Asami Ryuuichi’s taste of lover is rather weird. He chooses a noisy brat like you.” mocked the man.
“Are you deaf or something? I’m asking who the heck are you, asshole?” shouted Akihito in anger since the man made fun of him.
“Slap him.” One of the big guys literally slapped him on the cheek. He slapped him for ten times before he stopped. “It’s enough. Let this be a lesson for you kid. I hate people who did not show respect to me.” Akihito was painting hard. He felt the strong sting pain radiating from his redden cheek and he almost cried out but he was determined not to show it to his captors. “I don’t really like to tell my name to the likes of you, but since you’re about to die, I think it’s only appropriate for me to introduce myself. My name is Amori.”
“Well, nice to meet you then.” said Akihito in mocking tone. “Now will you be so fucking kind to tell me why am I here?”
“For your little knowledge, the more you speak with such tone, the more you’re going to suffer before your death.” smirked Amori evilly. “Let just say the reason you’re here is because you’re necessary to be portion of my parting gift to Asami.”
“You should go to department store. I believe you can find something nice in there to give Asami.”
“Too bad that I want my gift to be very special and unforgettable. And what gift to be more fitting than a video of you screaming in agony and pain. Don’t worry, after you die, I’ll sure to wrap you in a big box with nice ribbon before I return it to Asami.” With that Amori mentioned one of his lackeys to bring out the video recorder. He placed it near to Akihito’s face.
“Y-you sick bastard. I hope Asami kill you first.”
“He will never know where you are. This place is quite secluded. It’ll be too late when he find out. I already book a flight tomorrow morning. So tonight is all mine to enjoy before I send my gift to him. Any last word?” taunted Amori as he touched Akihito’s chin.
“FUCK YOU.” As soon as he finished those words, Akihito spitted on Amori’s face.
“Let see how your spirit will last.” Akihito eyes wide opened when the first man came nearer with a iron rod on his hand. In next seconds, Akihito’s screamed echoed throughout the warehouse. The guy hit his body not so gently. A blue-black bruise formed on smooth beautiful skin. The second man closing the distance smacked Akihito right on the stomach, causing the chair to fall down along with him. Akihito was coughing and painting. It was really hurt. He could feel his eyes getting wet due to the unbearable pain. His face turned pale when he saw the third guy coming while holding a whip. Akihito cried when he felt the sharp pain caused by the whip before the guy finally stop. Asami, hurry come. That was his only wish when he saw the fourth and fifth guy stood up. One of them untied Akihito from the chair and cuffed him to his back instead. As Akihito wondered what the man up to, he was shocked when the other guy stripped him from his pants. Oh no, don’t tell me…
“Arghhhhh.” screamed Akihito when the man entered him with force. Asami, safe me.

Meanwhile, Asami was on the car. He could not stay quite knowing that Akihito was in danger. He needed to be out there checking for all the possible location on where Akihito would be. Akihito, please be okay. I can’t forgive myself if anything happen to you. On this very moment, Asami made an oath to become stronger so that he could protect the person who was dear to him. He kept his eyes concentrate on his surrounding in case he found a clue. His phone rang. He took it out from his pocket, hoping that one of his men had found Akihito. To his dismay, the person who called him was not his men. Instead, it was someone who he did not expect to call during this time. May as well to get over with it. Asami thought as he pressed the green button. “Good news for you. I may have an idea where your lover is.”
