More Meme
Tagged by ensuing (not really, but she said anyone can do it). In this meme I reveal seven truths about myself. I get the feeling this meme is really circling around, since I did something like this two posts ago.
1. I'm pretty weak physically. Most girls I know could beat me at arm wrestling. Not to mention I haven't done one pull-up yet.
2. My eyesight is poor. I'm very near-sighted, so if I'm driving without glasses I can't read road signs until I'm about one second from passing them. Heck, I'm about four feet away from my computer screen, and I can't read the text (and this paragraph almost looks like two lines intead of three). Edit: It was three lines when I was typing this, anyway. >_>
3. Some of my dreams are semi-recurring. I don't dream much, maybe 4 or 5 times a month that I can remember. When I do, sometimes they take place in the same setting, but with different events each time, like episodes. One of my dream worlds take place in a small village at the base of a mountain, with forests surrounding the other three sides. So in one dream there was a cave we weren't allowed to go into but I went in anyway, and in another we had the annual village festival with carnival booths and fireworks and stuff. Another setting is a desert town that always reminds me of Dry Dry Outpost from Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door. And one more setting is in a large wooden house in the treetops. Sometimes I wish I could call up these dreams anytime I want, because despite some of them turning into nightmares, they're usually interesting.
4. I don't listen to music that comes from bands or specific artists. I usually prefer music that come from video games or anime. The ones I like best I learn to play on instruments. Sadly my clarinet isn't working (busted cork on the mouthpiece), so I'm really trying hard on the sax. The only songs I can play right now are the Windwaker theme, Still Alive from Portal, and Hare Hare Yukai (because I loved watching Minna no Nur Puppy. :D But yeah, my CDs consist of Pokemon, PPG, another Pokemon, Nightmare Before Christmas, South Park Movie, Azumanga Daioh, Smash Bros Melee, Gitaroo Man, etc.
5. A dream of mine is to do storyboards for a successful cartoon on Cartoon Network, with the same popularity as shows like Powerpuff Girls or Spongebob. And I want to do a show for kids but appeal to everyone, like Invader Zim. My second dream job is probably character designer for a popular video game company.
6. I think I behave very differently when I'm alone. I sing and even dance sometimes, and I talk to myself out loud a lot.
7. I dislike 3-D animation. Despite being 2-D, the classic Disney movies feel much more alive to me than the 3-D movies these days. Also, drawing pictures over and over is FAAAAAAAR less complicated than moving joints in one 3-D object. I don't even wanna think about how many joints are in a person with five fingers on each hand. But seriously, watch Beauty and the Beast and see how alive Belle acts. Or even Cats Don't Dance where the movement is more whimsical, but still believable and attractive to the eye. Compared to these two movies, 3-D looks so dull simply because the movement is more realistic (in other words, boring).
