Miss Davis,
It is indeed strange to have someone from Slytherin House
writing to me, and especialy someone I do not believe I know.
Thinking about your future is always a good thing, but I can certainly understand that the current situation would make a person think about it even more.
Quidditch is, in my opinion, one of the best ways to earn a living.
Getting a contract is not easy. Yes, I had to do try outs for various teams, and started out on the reserve team of Puddlemere. Through hard work at trainings I've managed to secure a place on the first team. However, others that worked just as hard and maybe even harder, weren't so lucky.
Being on the Slythering Quidditch team as a girl is quite the accomplishment, as I cannot remember there ever having been a girl in it. You must have some considerable talent, then, and worked hard.
Other than your question about how I got my spot on the team, do you have other questions about Quidditch?
Kind Regards,
Oliver Wood
