Posting Instructions

Congratulations to all the authors and artists who have finished this challenge! You guys have done an incredible job and have turned in some really stunning works. Its almost time for posting but first, lets break down how this is going to go.

Posting Instructions
Leading up to their assigned posting day Authors and Artists need to communicate to get ready. I would like Authors AND Artists to make a Master Post to their journals (one for the fic, one with all the art) and provide each other with the links.

For Authors I want a place on your journal people can go to be navigated to the fic (whether you decide to host in on your journal, on an archive, or somewhere else). This master post needs to LINK to the story and each part in the story.

For Artists I want you to have a post that you can get feedback from on your art and show it all together. Authors are more than welcome to include the art in their story, but the Artist's Master Post is so Artists can get praise too for their work.

If you want an example of a story master post please look HERE. For art post you can format the way you like just make sure to include a link to the author’s story, like THIS.
(example used at sncross_bigbang)

Posting to your journal/site/archive:
You will be posting your fic to either your own journal or a site or archive of your choice. You will not be posting the fic itself to this community (as some stories are going to in a lot of parts and we don't want the community to be cluttered up with each one)

I will give you the heading information I want you to fill out for your post to the community but you are welcome to change around yours. Here are the basics:
- I want you to link back to the big bang AND to your artist and their art post
- Don't lock your fic, EVER, if the place you post to is locked or might be locked in the future I suggest posting your story to an unlocked community or Archive of Our Own. I want everyone to be able to access the fics with out having to friend anyone or join anything. Also, in the future I want links to still work for people.
- If you are posting your story before your posting day please LOCK it for your eyes only and only unlock it when you're ready to post to the community (same goes for artists)
- If you are breaking your story up into parts please try and make sure each part links to the next part and the one before it. It makes things a lot easier for readers.

Posting to the community
Posting is moderated so once you post to the community, as long as you follow the guidelines and your links to work, I'll approve the post.

When posting make sure the subject line reads - Fic: Title - Author

This is how your heading information needs to be formatted:

Title:
Fandom:
Author:
Artist:
Type: (gen, slash, het, crossover, whatever you think applies to your fic)
Word Count:
Rating:
Characters/Pairings:
Warnings (sexual context, non-con, violence, strong language, characters death, etc)
Summary:

Link to fic master post:
Link to art master post:

What it looks like:
Title:
Fandom:
Author:
Artist:
Type: (gen, slash, het, crossover, whatever you think applies to your fic)
Word Count:
Rating:
Characters/Pairings:

You can add whatever you want to it (notes, beta credit, acknowledgements, disclaimer, etc) but please don't take away from the things listed and fill them all out to the best of your ability. This is done in HTML when you post so please make sure that is marked and not rich text.

Don't change around the order or forget any links. Your post will be rejected if its not formatted like this (I will be using the posts to the community to put together the round up at the end of posing and we want the formatting of the fics to look the same).

If you aren’t sure how to do this (the coding, etc) please contact me through the comms email (syfybigbang@gmail.com), private message, or AIM at chosenfire2890. You can also always just leave a comment to this post (which I'll probably get back to the fastest).
