At 5:05 PM , Bureau of Meteorology weather radar detected severe thunderstorms near Horsley Park and Leppington. These thunderstorms are moving towards the northeast. Severe thunderstorms are forecast to affect Liverpool, Parramatta, Stadium Australia and Hornsby by 5:35 PM and Terrey Hills, Manly and Mona Vale by 6:05 PM .
Destructive winds and very heavy rainfall are possible.
109 km/hr wind gust has been observed at Camden. (!)
