Restaurants near Oxford Street

It's been a while since I've cruised Oxford Street and it's surrounding little hidden alleys .....
I need some recommendations on cheap/affordable RESTAURANTS (not take-away joints/fast foodies!) that are around or near Oxford Street, particularly in the Taylor Square/Taylor Street area.
Cuisine wise Thai or Vietnamese or Italian would be preferred, but we're not too fussy! Prefer to spend around $15 on mains since we're all pretty broke too!
