Possible New Job
Ok, so... I had put my two weeks notice in a while ago and am coming to the end of it. So today, I just got a job interview at the Cohannet Academy in Taunton State Hospital. It's the girls ward, from young girls to age 18. I would be a counseler; play with kids, supervise kids, take kids places, restrain kids, talk with kids. I mean, I'd be like a parent/friend. I met some of the girls there, they're very nice and funny. Anyway, The woman who interviewed me said I will more than likely get the job. pay is 10.50 an hour, and schedule is the appidemy of flexible. I want to work there. I want to help these girls. She was telling me that these girls have been raped, molested, etc.. usually by men and neglected by their parents. These girls are scared of men, they think all men are bad, they don't trust anyone, they're running on survival mode. For a second, I thought perhaps i belonged there... it was scarey, except... I'm not trying to kill myself... so yea. I just want to help them because understands more than I do that it is important not to hate everyone and be scared of everyone and everything. I hope I get this job...
