Chapter Three - A Minor Breakthrough?

[Yunho's POV]

Right, so I decided to stick to my word and go to Yoochun's room but I swear to God that I walked into hell itself.

I let myself in because the door to his hotel room had been wide open, showing the mess of the floor that looked like he and Seung Hyun had taken part in a clothes fight, I hasten to add (Yoochun's underwear being one of the things that seemed to have been part of this as they lay in the middle of his room with the little name tag sticking out that his Umma had sewn in about three years ago). It looked like they'd gone out and forgotten to shut the door so I was about to leave their mess of a room to it when I heard a crash coming from the bathroom, so I began to scan the room for what remains of blood or anything else that could be connected with either of their murders - just in case.

As I zoned into the noises coming from the bathroom, the sound of mumbling could be heard underneath the crashing of whatever was breaking as I slalomed my way through the clothes over to the glass door. Honestly, whoever invented those should be shot. The possibility of both of them crashing through it or even just one of them slamming it was so likely to shatter it it was unbelieveable. Then they would be able to use the shards as lethal weapons...

"Get the fuck away from my shampoo!"

I froze after hearing Yoochun's headcase voice. He sounded pretty fucked off and it scared me a little, but it was my job to stop him murdering TOP, so I made my way closer to the door and put my hand on the handle, perfectly ready to jump in the defence of Seung Hyun.

It turned out that the mumbling I had heard was Seung Hyun himself, rapping insults at Yoochun which seemed to be a pretty successful attempt at irritating him. However, I don't understand why it was needed because he'd already squirted Chun's shampoo into the sink (which said idiot was now trying to desperately scoop up and put back into the bottle, failing miserably) so the rapping was not particularly necessary, but it was a nice touch.

"I'm so going to kill you before this day is even out, let alone a fortnight!" Yoochun shouted, which was my signal to enter and stop the chaos.

"YAH!" I shouted back, (attempting to) challenging the tone and volume of Chun's own scream.

They both just stared at me like I was crazy, (which I might add is a tad hypocritical), so I coughed and grabbed Yoochun's wrist, proceeding to drag him out of the room and ignoring his protests (something about being unable to defend his territory).

"Hyung, what the fuck?! Didn't you see him trashing up my shit, yo? I have to stop the crazy bastard!" He shrieked, obviously in Korean, which gained us some strange looks from the English people staying in the hotel too - I nodded at them with a smile and tried to remember the word for sorry.

And yes, Yoochun goes all 'gangster' when he's angry.

"Chun-ah, shut up. You know that you're being the crazy bastard, right? First, apologize to the English people." I demanded, pointing a finger in the direction of the people waiting by the elevator.

"Sorry." He said, which I gather is the word I was looking for as they all nodded at him and exchanged looks, so I dragged him once again off to some other secluded corridor where I hoped Jaejoong wouldn't happen to be walking.

"Look, Jaejoong-ssi is making my life hell."

"Are you kidding me? You've been giddy all week... I thought he was the man of your dreams..." Yoochun said, a hand to his heart and a mock dreamy look in his eyes. The inner temptation to poke him in the eye nearly took over, however I pulled myself together and settled for slapping his arm.

"He is, you idiot. That's the problem. He's pushing all the right buttons to get himself jumped, I just don't understand why."

"He hates you," Yoochun pointed out and I very, very nearly punched him but realised that that was in fact the truth, therefore I couldn't hurt him for it, "Let me talk to Junsu-yah, I'm sure Jaejoong-ssi has told him something. And even if he hasn't, I could come up with a plan of some sort to make him realise that you are the only guy for him."

So in summary, my love life is in the hands of the guy that gets stressed over shampoo. I feel so lucky.

[Jaejoong's POV]

After Mr Jung left our room in a very amusing and flustered state, I decided that I wouldn't sit there like a londer and instead went to Junsu and Changmin's room to inform them of such a hilarious sitation.

Unfortunately they didn't possess the reaction I was hoping for.

"That was kinda mean, Jae." Junsu said when I had finished telling my story. His comment was made with half-interest in what I'd been saying as he was currently fishing through the mini-bar, trying to take the things he knew Changmin would swipe before he even had the chance to stop him.

In my opinion, it was all pretty gross. I loved sweets as much as the next person, and I adored English food and wanted to try almost everything that was classed as traditional English, but I didn't want to fill myself with crap from the mini-fridge. I didn't particularly watch my figure (although it hadn't really done me wrong) but I preferred proper meals. The ones that fill you in one go.

Changmin himself was listening to be through the door of the bathroom as he put away his things.

"How was it kinda mean? Kinda mean is trying to rape you in a fucking children's park!" I protested. How the hell was I kinda mean?! He deserved being teased.

"He didn't try to... nevermind. Just... I think you should be a little less harsh on him." I stared at Junsu with deer-in-headlights eyes, trying to understand why he suddenly became all Mr Sentimental, especially after endlessly teasing me about it. He'd never defended Yunho before. Yoochun was such a terrible influence on Su.

"To be honest, hyung," Changmin's voice sounded from the bathroom, "I don't think he wants to rape you. You said yourself that he practically ignored you for two hours." Yeah he did. Bastard.

"So?"

"If he wanted to rape you, he would've done it by now." he said, shutting the door and grabbing a cereal bar from Junsu's bed without the latter seeing, as his head was still deep inside the mini-fridge. Okay, so Junsu had Yoochun as a bad influence, but Changmin didn't have anyone. What was his excuse? Did he have a soft spot for Yunho?

"But what if that's his plan? Huh?! You're thinking exactly what he wants you to!" I pointed out, my hands and arms going crazy and trying to portray my insanity, doing a pretty good job if I do say so myself. They couldn't understand that they were just falling into his trap. Well, I wasn't about to let myself be as foolish as them, I'm not stupid. I can see through his transparent act of innocent...ness...

"Jae, once again, you're paranoid..." and just as i opened my mouth to argue, "and don't even think about denying it." Junsu said whilst slapping Changmin for being a sneaky thief.

"I'm not. If I was paranoid, it wouldn't have crossed my mind at one point thaat he might've gone off of me..."

"Oh, so that's why you asked him!" Shit.

"Are you scared you're losing your man, Jaejoongie-hyung?" Changmin teased, a greasy smile gracing his lips as his eyebrows wiggled up and down. This was totally the wrong direction I wanted this conversation heading in. They were meant to be laughing at Yunho's blushing face, not the way I thought he was going off me! Wait, no! That's not what I thought... I don't like Yunho. He's a prick. A rapist prick. A small faced rapist prick. Yeah...

"No! I hate him."

"You said that half-heartedly, hyung. Hate is a strong word anyway, you don't mean it."

I sighed and crossed my arms, leaning back against the headboard of Changmin's bed. I was getting bored of being picked on by my supposed friends. I wasn't going to win this battle if they were both against me, so I decided to take matters into my own hands and just try and survive the fortnight.

"Look, if you guys are going to take his side, I'll just leave." I said, dragging myself from Changmin's bed towards the door with my head hung low. My feeling wasn't faked, I was genuinely upset that my freinds didn't agree with me. Still, I was Kim Jaejoong and was going to get over it eventually.

[Normal POV]

Jaejoong woke up the next morning in a better mood than he went to bed in. He'd made it a point to ignore Yunho when they had both returned to their room that evening, the latter returning the favour. However, a smile still managed to creep onto Jaejoong's face when he spied the blush tinging Yunho's cheeks as he silently moved around the room, obviously still embarrassed from beforehand.

He sat up in the itchy sheets of the hotel's bed, stretching as his eyes glanced over at the empty but made bed that looked so pristine, it was like it hadn't even been slept in. Throwing the duvet aside, Jaejoong swung his legs over the side of the bed and slouched his way to the bathroom, going through his morning routine for the first time in England.

The blonde was surprised to find his bed already made when he came out of the bathroom, a note left on his pillow, reading, You're messy. Make your bed before you mess up the bathrooom. Indeed, Jaejoong had left the bathroom in a state too, his towel strewn across the floor, toothpaste splotches around the sink, his toothbrush left next to but not inside the holder and water all over the tiles. The first thought that crossed his mind was that it was a littl creepy that Yunho knew he'd left the bathroom a mess whilst tidying his bed, especially as the blonde hadn't seen him since he'd woken up. For a moment, Jaejoong thought it must have been a ghost, but laughed at his stupid conclusion and dressed the rest of himself, leaving the room to meet with the rest of his class for breakfast.

"Over here Jae-hyung!" Junsu called from the circular table in the center of the room. He was sat in between Changmin and the terrible influence known as Yoochun, who was sat next to none other than Yunho. Jaejoong sighed, not because Yunho was there - he'd come to realise that he wasn't going to escape the male as he was sharing a room with him and because Junsu was dating Yunho's best friend, meaning that a lot of time was going to end up being spent with him - it was because the only seat available was in between Changmin and Yunho. Jaejoong believed that this was purposely arranged.

"Morning hyung, are you okay?" Changmin asked as Jaejoong sat in the only seat left, a slight grin gracing his sneaky lips.

"Yes thanks," he answered, before turning towards Yunho, "Did you leave me that note?"

Yunho raised his eyebrows, "Y-Yes, did you expect someone else to have?"

"Where were you though?" Jaejoong asked, ignoring the others question and his doe eyes impossibly widening in confusion. The others at the table had retured to their own conversations, yet still keeping one ear open to the discssion the two were having.

"When?"

"When I got up. I didn't see you and you weren't in the bathroom," the thought of Yunho hiding in the bathroom while Jaejoong stripped and showered scared him a little and he even wondered whether that was what had happened, but if he'd made his bed, Jaejoong would've noticed him sneaking out. And Jaejoong had locked the door.

"Choi Seonsaengnim had knocked on our door earlier and told me what time we needed to be downstairs by. I was already dressed so I went to check that Yoochun hadn't killed Seung Hyun during the night," Yunho said slightly nervously, sending a glance at mentioned stress head, who frowned at the look he was getting from his best friend, "I was going to wake you when I got back because you didn't need to be up when he knocked, but when I got back you'd already gotten up."

"Why did you make my bed though? I'm not a kid. I'd only been up five minutes and I would've done it when I'd finished in the bathroom." Jaejoong said, his eyebrows furrowing together as he crossed his arms and sat back in his chair, wearing a pout like the most natural expression his face could conjure up.

"Okay, so did you tidy the bathroom?" Yunho asked, a small smile he failed to repress spreading across his face as he took a sip of the orange juice that was in front of him. Jaejoong blushed deeply, eyes connecting with the scarlet carpet of the floor, matching his cheeks. Yunho chuckled softly and shook his head at the way Jaejoong acted. Behind all the bitchiness, he knew there was a reason why he liked him. But hey, if they couldn't be together, they could be friends, right? He was determined to get at least that satisfaction. His nervousness faltered a little and he felt his stomach relax as he let the smile continue. He was getting pretty desperate for information from Junsu.

A waiter turned up at the table and placed plates in front of each person. Jaejoong's eyes lit up at the food that had been ordered for him.

"Woah, which one of you knew exactly what I wanted?!" the blonde said excitedly, licking his lips at the plate of full English breakfast in front of him, glancing to the right at Changmin and Junsu. They shook their heads.

"Yunho-ssi ordered it." Junsu said whilst smiling sweetly at Jaejoong before glancing at Yunho then at Yoochun. Changmin sniggered, shoving porridge in his mouth before he began his own full English.

Jaejoong looked at Yunho, who had his head down, obviously embarrassed, yet still spooning his cereal into his mouth, "Thanks, Yunho-ssi."

"N-No problem, Jaejoong-ssi."

And breakfast continued whithout a hitch. Yunho and Jaejoong did not exchange another word, the latter choosing to be polite but inside he was burning with annoyance at the way Yunho had managed to do something nice. This wasn't what he needed. He just wanted more reasons to dislike him...

On the first day, they weren't going to go very far from where the hotel was. Mr Choi and Miss Lee knew that the kids were likely to get tired very easily on the first day out, so they settled for visiting Big Ben and Buckingham Palace.

"Isn't this exciting, Jaejoong-oppa?!" Jung Jessica squealed as they made their way from the hotel to the coach, rushing to Jaejoong's side and linking her arm with his.

"I know Jessica-ssi!" he said with a wide smile as they began to discuss the facts they knew about the Queen of England.

Kwon Yuri then appeared quickly behind them, linking arms with Jaejoong from the other side, "Hey Jaejoong-oppa! Are you excited about seeing Big Ben for real?" she asked, a million dollar smile painted on her pretty face as she internally cursed Jessica.

"Of course, Yuri-ssi! I've only ever seen pictures, I hope it's as amazing as I imagine it to be." the blonde answered, grinning like a crazy person at the mere thought of seeing Big Ben. Over the space that possessed Jaejoong, the two girls sent each other glares strong enough to kill, before smiling again at the blonde haired beauty.

Jaejoong himself was fairly pleased to be surrounded by some people that weren't his friends, strangely enough. The girls knew as well as he did that he was interested in guys, but that still didn't stop them trying to turn him back 'the right way' and attempting to wind their way into his pants. It never worked, but they all believed they could slowly erode away at his preference for males with their short skirts and flashy smiles. Actually, the only girl that didn't was Kim Stephanie, but that was because she was Jaejoong's girly friend who was there to discuss good looking guys with.

From a distance, two people watched in jealousy. Yunho was one, of course, his eye twitching at every single touch that the girls made on his Jaejoong. The other was Changmin, staring at the way Jung Jessica smothered Jaejoong with herself.

"You better get him quick," he said to Yunho, watching the trio hop onto the coach, "I don't want to watch Jessica-ssi all over him for this whole trip."

Yunho frowned. If Changmin was Jaejoong's best friend, why would Jaejoong accept Jessica's flirtatious behaviour if he knew Changmin liked her?

"Why don't you get her quick? Then she won't be all over him and we'll both be happy." Yunho pointed out, following him onto the coach.

"She only has eyes for him. She's vowed she'll accept no other until he's finally taken." the younger one said, sneering as he saw Jaejoong seated next to Jessica and across the aisle from Yuri. Yunho joined him with his matching expression of displeasure at the seating arrangements. They obtained seats next to each other, behind Junsu and Yoochun who were confused by the expressions their best friends beheld.

"What's up with you two?" Yoochun questioned, as they buckled their belts.

"Jaejoong-ssi is sat next to Jessica-ssi."

"Jessica-ssi is sat next to Jae-hyung."

Junsu sighed and Yoochun rolled his eyes at their pathetic behaviour.

"Hyung is gay, therefore possessing no interest in Jung Jessica-ssi whatsoever. There is no point of you worrying. It's just good for her image. He's either siting with her because he needs a break from us, or she bombarded him and is threatening to murder him if he doesn't sit with her." Junsu joked, his comment making Yunho clench his seat a lot tighter than neccessary.

"it was just a joke..." Junsu said, squeezing onto Yoochun's hand out of fear and in need of support.

"I don't think you want to kill Junsu-yah, hyung, he has some very helpful pointers for you that are going to be easy to follow." Yoochun said, grinning.

Yunho released his grip and offered a gentle and grateful smile to Junsu.

The title of 'Jaejoong's Boyfriend' could become closer with one coach ride.
