It's official.
Empty Houses will be my NaNo novel for 2010. I can barely even get myself to open my Word doc for The Man, and all I'm doing with that is editing. I tend to get this way in the summer; in a kind of slump I just can't shake. Part of it has to do with the fact that I'm going to be working at two different camps over the next two weeks. It's hard to dive head first into something when you're not sure whether you're going to have time to work on it for almost a month.
I have been reading, though, which is good. And, my computer will be with me at camp next week, so when there's downtime, I can work on things. I just need my spark back. It'll come when it's ready, I suppose.
