Quick updates (because my life is crazy right now)
1. The Man is officially on "I'm-not-allowed-to-open-the-Word-doc" lock down until July. It's what will be best for the story, and hopefully I can come back to it with fresh eyes, and hopefully get it ready to query in time for some submission deadlines.
2. I will spend my time until then writing short stories and starting work on Empty Houses.
3. We were able to find a wonderful, caring new home for Clyde and my husband's severe allergy issues are gone. So strange that one silly little cat could have such a detrimental effect on him. Also, Ginny is thrilled with being the only cat again. I guess she wasn't as lonely as we thought she was. Little diva...
4. The school year is winding down and therefore I'm trying to sub as much as possible, which is great but making finding time to write nearly impossible.
5. I got a new car! The Civic was wonderful, but I'd had it since I was 16 and it was time for a change. I'm now the proud owner of a 2010 Prius, and I'm completely in love with it.
6. I'm thoroughly obsessed with the insanity that is Glee. Bring the ridiculous awesomeness, writers. I wants it! This week's homage to Madonna was fantastic and I've already watched it multiple times. (God Bless DVR)
7. Hanson just released the first single from their upcoming album release. Seriously, if you're a fan of the Blues Brothers, you must watch the video. (And yes, that is Weird Al Yankovic playing the tambourine) The single is "Thinking 'Bout Somethin'" and it's a very fun song. Let's just say that it's pretty much on repeat on my iTunes right now. :)
