almost there

As of Saturday, I've mailed off all my cards and gift packages. I had to do it in batches because my arms (and big bags) can only carry so many boxes at once, and the lines at the post office are crazy long - up to 50 people deep some days. And a lot of them were rude and/or grumpy. Tack on aggressively cheerful, poorly sung carols cranking out of ( Read more... )

This year has been all over the place for me so I'm kind of glad it's over too. Some was great and some was terrible.

And this year started out with such promise. Ha Ha. Seriously I am gonna be glad this year is over but since next year will just be a continuation of this I am not expecting much.

\o/ on the continued weight loss. Great!

I have been working crazy hours for the last month and I am way behind on cards, presents and baking. My decorating is sparse this year cause I have neither the time or the spirit to do more. So good for you actually getting stuff done.
Hugs and prayers sent to you and your family. Happy Holidays.

Know what you mean about being glad to see the end of this year. Good times for sure, but some bad ones as well.

Dad's okay, but it took nearly 8 months for him to get near normal. The problem with those types of medications is that you can't just stop them; you have to ween them off or it can make matters worse. And, even after being weened off of them, there's always going to be a built up of it in your fat cells.

It took months to get him "clean" of the two drugs that were interacting, then they had to slowly and carefully start two new drugs to replace the old while monitoring the whole time ( ... )

What a worrying, scary time that must have been for all of you. Hope he is doing well at the moment.

One of my brothers is on some pretty heavy anti-depression nad anti-panic attack meds so I know how difficult it is to change meds. He's actually in hospital at the moment because they are changing his meds again as he has been having what they call "conversion" attacks and they think it might be one of the meds he has been on for a long time causing it so they need to monitor him. We are just hoping he can come out for Christmas day, it won't be the same if he's not there.

I thimk that was zortrana that you remember.
