I have the strangest luck.
A few months ago, I entered a contest that Coca Cola was running that was related to the NCAA championship games. I have no interest in sports whatsoever. In fact, I only entered because I liked some of the lesser prizes like coupons for coke products or gift cards to major stores -- Amazon among them.
And I won.
Second prize.
Apparently, I was one of 300 people that had their name drawn.
And what did I get?
Not a gift card to Amazon or Nike.com or Home Depot or Lowes or Target or even Walmart (any of which I would have been okay with).
Oh, no. I had to get the most hilarious of them all -- a $75 gift card to the online NCAA Sports website.
*cackles*
Because I know and care so much about sports.
Now, I'm debating between finding someone to swap gift cards with or find a college sports team that has a color scheme that compliments my skin tone so I can get a swanky new jacket or something.
Still, me, my friends, and my family find the whole thing hilarious.
Still, it's really cool to have won something! I can't count the number of times I've entered contests and not won!
