LoL…something I would imagine Brian saying. Seems even though he lacks Brian’s influence, there are still certain elements that draws them together, and in this case their obvious annoyance towards Mel/Lindz.
Rare indeed was the day he actually pleaded for anything
Yet again another quality shared by his dad. Pleading is definitely an out of question thing for brian; I honestly don’t remember the last time he has, or if he ever did plead for anything.
I love the way youre slowly but surely disentangling Gus’s character, and I think it’s better if the story is a bit scattered, I’m assuming youre going to be going back and fourth showing the transition of Gus’s personality take form. It gives us a better understanding of how things may have ended up the way they currently are.
The Lesbi-moms was something that happened by accident. I was sleepy and mid-edit and his insert instead of delete. The two words got melted together. I had on OMG! moment, and the rest is history.
I’m assuming youre going to be going back and fourth showing the transition of Gus’s personality take form.
Yeah...that's the plan. Sometimes the far past, sometimes the present, sometimes only a few years ago. I'm debating whether or not to just follow Gus and Brian's side of the story of to make it truly three dimensional and show everyone's perspective.
Emotionally, it would be better to include the mommies' side to make it well rounded, but, honestly, I'm so bitter about them taking off that it might seriously come through in my writing.
I feel like I commented on this, but it deerves more anyways. You just knew Gus was going to be a little shit and that Brian would feel guilty about stuff and be a pushover. more more more!!!
Gus sounds a lot like his Dad might have been as a teen. I'll keep on reading because I like the sound of this, and I like teen Gus. I can feel the tension in Brian's silences - lol.

I'm working on it. I keep seeing flashes of devious little Gus here and there.
*snorts*
I enjoy peeling the layers back.
