I admit it, I got another online journal for a new fandom that shall remain nameless, so this one, paid account and all, has been a teensy bit neglected. I still try to catch up on friends list every couple of days here, even though I suck at commenting anymore. Also I'm still reading
realanise's various writings, even though I'm too lazy to log in (or can't remember my logins) at schnoogle and dracoandginny.com. I'll definitely be logging in to check everyone reaction to HBP next weekend though. Even though I'm not very fangirly over HP anymore, I'm still going to a midnight release party with a friend at the campus bookstore. Wonder if there's any chance I'll run into
maramaitai there.
Anyway, I'm updating now because
sarea_okelani has apparently tagged me in some sort of meme, although being out of the loop for so long, I've never done one of these before, so wheee!
Clark Kent/Superman, as played by Christopher Reeve in the movies. D00d, I love geeky guys in glasses, and one with superpowers is even more awesome.
King Arthur, the blond golden boy version (like Edward Atterton's version in looks and like Clive Owens' in persona). I've loved The Sword in the Stone since I was a little kid. I just have this picture in my head of this warrior king who is totally hot but also wise and kindhearted. Plus I totally ignore that Morgan stuff. :) Lalala I can't hear you!
Legolas Greenleaf, as played by Orlando Bloom. I'm not enamoured with him in the books, but the movie version, besides being super hot, is just so freaking cool. Fights with two knives and the bow? *Swoon*
Mark Darcy, from Bridget Jones Diary. A little awkward, but so cute, considerate. Oh, and rich too. ;)
Michael Moscowitz from The Princess Diaries. I stole this one from Sarea, but I love considerate, brainy boys.
Gilbert Blythe from Anne of Green Gables. Brilliant, mischievious, and thoughtful.
Anakin Skywalker, as played by Hayden Christensen. Really hot, really powerful, and has a dark side. Fantasy bad boy fodder definitely.
Zorro, as played by Guy Williams in the 1950s Disney TV series. Love the duality of the foppish Diego and the kickass crimefighter. Funny guy, too.
Joe Hackett from the TV series Wings, as played by Timothy Dalton. He's such a square but in such an adorable way, and really cares about people/things he holds dear.
Harvey Kinkle from Sabrina, the Teenage Witch. Unbelievably understanding and cool even with all the craziness of Sabrina's magical powers.
So do I have to tag someone now? Um, okay.
apple_eyes,
thena, and
subdereality, if by chance any of you still read my woefully neglected journal. :P
In other news I've absolutely become hooked on the "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" series in the last couple of days, having devoured one book after another and actually purchasing the latest one in hardback even though in principle I am against purchasing hardback copies of books due to the fact that I am cheap. And I watched the movie this afternoon and loved it as well and will probably get it on DVD when it comes out. Not as funny as The Princess Diaries, but more thoughtful and realistic, in a way.
