Update: Finally
Okay, so I'm still alive and whatnot. Life's going more or less well for me these days. Today, was a lazy day... went to the U.S base and picked up a couple of video games for cheap... Hitman2(PC) and 'The Getaway'(PS2). What? It's not as if there's anything else to spend money on around this place... *G*
Ran into the Corporal that I met way the hell back last May, and seen him about- French Canadian, great guy... asked me if I've lost weight... that made my day! *G* The weight loss and getting into shape is going well, which is a surprise... I've lost about 40lbs so far...
Anyway, I saw the corporal, on the U.S base... after I got on it. Things are getting crazy around here with the war- nothing like a war to perk the military up. And god knows why, but there are now concrete blocks in some of the Parking lots. I suppose, it's to prevent a car bomb from being parked so close to the main buildings and then going off...
But honestly, if someone was crazy enough to attack the U.S base here, in the Netherlands... and somehow got a bomb onto the base... why would he blow up a Burger King?
Anyway, I digress. It's better to be safe than sorry, and it's a relief to see that people are taking measures around here... now if we could just get the security levels worked out... U.S is on 'Charlie', Nato's at 'Bravo Minus', School closes for three days at 'Charlie' but it's using the U.S system, so should of closed... bah.
