I am getting so fucking sick of hearing how people are acting towards census people. It's pissing me off to the extent that I had to come back here, dig up my old account and post an entry in order to rant.
GET OVER YOURSELF YOU FUCKS! The people are out there busting there asses on a job that is harder than you can imagine. Paper work litters my entire dining room, and my boyfriend rushes home everyday from school to spend almost the rest of his entire day to work on it.
The questions aren't hard, or stupid, or fucking evasive. It's your name, your birthday, your race and how many people lived in your house on April 1st. Ooh no! With that information, the government will come to your house and do bad things! BULLSHIT! The government already knows your fucking personal finances and history. You think you're protecting yourself by not giving out your name? That's a load of shit. Think about that the next time you load up your computer to buy something online, or meet someone in a chat room. OH! Forget about trying to apply for a job or meeting new people... because those things require others KNOWING YOUR FUCKING NAME!!
I wanted to laugh so hard in this one dumb ass person's face who wanted to file for harassment, because a Census worker came to their door. Sure, go ahead and file. I'm sure you'll feel really great when the Judge throws the case out because it's A GOVERNMENT JOB!
That's right! Your taxes are marginally spent in paying for the Census! So if you don't want them spending so much on the census...ANSWER THE FUCKING QUESTIONS THE FIRST TIME! The longer they are out in the field is because of retards that refuse to cooperate!
Now I can tell you there are many people out there who are sitting back and relaxing, knowing they aren't going to be getting that knock on the door because they filled out that little piece of paper everyone got in the mail. Good for you guys! You are the ones helping to keep the system working quickly and effectively. However some of you may not have gotten a letter in the mail, but were kind enough to give your time to the Census work who knocked on your door. Thank you so much for your honesty, kindness and helping to keep the gears turning!
Then, there are those of you who I want to hit. Violently. For you were violent. You were rude, cruel, and a complete and total fuckass. You, who thinks you know all about it and are protecting 'your rights', but do not know jack shit. You are an idiot. You are who is cause the process of the Census to falter, unhinge, and ultimately slow down. You are wasting your own money by acting like a retard.
