Dear God.... this has become an absolute living NIGHTMARE.... my brother and I rushed my Pops to the hospital here Monday morning. He was admitted to ICU with a blood clot in his left leg and in one of his lungs. We found out there that my step-brother Tom took out a power of attorney over my father in June and is insisting that he make all the health care decisions for OUR father, regardless of what we want. We have found out that he and his siblings have written six $22,000.00 checks to each of the six siblings in their family and on the 15th of the month, had their sister Suzie added to Pop's bank account so that she could do online transfers from Pop's money-market account to his primary account, to cover the checks. A bank account that previously contained $198,000.00... now has $7,000.00 left in it.... and when we confronted Tom he ADMITTED they had done so, and all we have to do is ask for money to take care of my father.... ASK for HIS fucking money????? What the fuck?????
