eins. Attention, fans of free (German) music: Die Toten Hosen have put one of their songs from their upcoming unplugged album up for download on their website. Go and get Weltmeister for free here (link will expire at midnight, 18.11.). God, I can't wait to finally see their unplugged concert on MTV tomorrow!

A very warm welcome to the new people on my flist (saw this in nessaja82's journal and thought it was a fantabulous idea)! cerri44, I'm in awe of your mad icon skillz and hope I'll get to squee with you about Lee/Kara once the season continues in January. Much love to nessaja82 with whom I had a wonderful comment chat on Monday - it's so good to have someone who shares both my love for the sea and SG-1's finest (= Jack :). And last, but definitely not least, I'm happy to welcome shantalanadevil, a fellow Numb3rs addict!
drei. While trying to get the latest scoop on the current Gilmore Girls season, I inadvertently got spoiled for Lost's season 2. In a major way. WTF?! Not only am I pissed off at getting spoiled, I also can't believe the content of the spoiler. JJ Abrams, you're an evil man.
vier. How is it that I'm using 72 of my icon slots and still feel like HOMG I need to get/make new icons right now?
fünf. Methinks I need to reorganize my filters. One for all the lovely people on my flist, one for icon contests (although there's only one I'm active in, so it seems kind of pointless to have a filter for it), one for everything BSG, one for everything icon-related, one for the music and one for all the writing stuff. Oh, yeah, and then there's swslash. Perhaps I'd be better off with a layout that has a sidebar...
sechs. You all probably already know this, but just in case there's someone who didn't: New Atlantis, the resource for high quality Atlantis pix, now has a sister site, the SGC Picture Archive. So far, they "only" have promotional and episodic pictures from season 9, but I already went wild and downloaded about a ton of Vala pictures. Expect icons.
sieben. In other news (that, once again, probably aren't news to most of you): only five more days until Atlantis! Yay for Canada airing the second half of season 2 early.
