hmmmm.... I am very stressed out lately... playing poker for a living is fucking hard as hell! I won't "blah-blah" on about it, but let's just say my stress level is so high it is causing issues...
Not working is FUN though!!! Being poor is NOT!!! Sex is FUN!!! Shooting yourself in the foot is NOT!!!
Anyways.... We got an awesome deal from Phil Western when he played here. Long story short: He gave of some stock to unload. It's a Download and PlatEAU album on vinyl! We are now, as far as I know, the only ones who carry the vinyl release of this album! Pretty cool...
I've been listening to a LOT of music lately as poker allows me to do this all day, and the stupid cable company wants me to get another box to have shit in my bedroom where the computer is. I highly recomend the following artist as they kick some ass:
DJ Krush - Trip Hop... and experimental at times
DJ Spooky - Trip Hop/D&B/Hip-Hop/experimental
Coldcut - Trip Hop
Amon Tobin (aka: Cujo) - The shiznite!!!! His earlier stuff is very jazzy, but as time has gone on his records have become more advance and intricate
DJ Food - Trip-Hop/Jazz/Experimental "Kaleidoscope" is an awesome album!
Download - Fucking Download! experimental and weird
Future Sounds of London "Dead Cities" - I don't like their other albums, but this one is cool and nastalgic
Clutch - Rock 'n' Roll from Jersy!!! These kats are amazing musicians and their lyrics are hilarious!
Helmet - Good ol' Hardcore rock
Architect - It's the kat from Haujob. It's really good stuff - i like it better then haujob.
Meat Beat Manifesto "Subliminal Sandwhich" - I'm addicted to this record. I'm not as big a fan of their other stuff though.
