Back in the Saddle?

I'm not going to lie- I've tried blogging many times, and it always seems to fall through.  I have no promises that this one won't fall through too.

My problem, it would seem, is that I always have such big goals and aspirations, and whenever I get too busy, I get behind.  When I get behind I feel horrible, and instead of jumping right back up on that horse, I put it off and put it off, until it's yet another abandoned cause.

So this time I'm starting with baby steps.  There is no promise of a post a week.  For right now, this blog will be mainly used for one thing, and one thing only- Brigit's Flame.  You see- for those of you who don't know, Brigit's flame is a month long contest, for those doing good in it.  Each week there is a new prompt, and each week participants vote on their favorite entries.  The highest voted get to move on, and the rest can either chose to participate for fun, or wait until next month.  My vow at this point, is to participate as long as I stay in the competition each and every month.  Hopefully that's an ambition that I can stick to (even if I do get eliminated in the first week).

My first entry for July has already been posted.  Wish me luck.
