Living was beginning to seem impossible to Hunter. God seemed to be reminding Hunter that he was getting old and would soon be unable to serve the same purpose in life as he had done so for so long. His days of adventure and life were beginning to come to its end for he could slowly see himself becoming tired. As he rose from his bed on a dark, sunless morning, he looked out the rusty window that he had looked out so many times. Instead of looking out at a world of interest, he instead saw all the boredom he had created in his life. As exciting as Hunter’s life was, he never stopped to see what was missing. He never thought ahead. Now he was alone, alone in a dieing existence and nobody was going to save him. Not even God. As Hunter was sitting by his old window thinking of what he had done wrong, Satan looked up from hell and saw the gloominess Hunter had created for himself. Satan understood this unhappiness Hunter had and felt sorry for him. Satan decided that it was his job to help this poor fellow by putting him in a place where sorrow would stay with him forever.
