Recently Fabio and I were joking that we’ve got to go to church and baptize a lot of babies when we get back to NY… well I’ve got to baptize a lot of babies. Fabio and I are Lianna’s godparents; we’re supposed to baptize her. I’m Elias’ godmother, got to baptize him. Then there’s Baby Braulio; I know I’m supposed to be his godmother, I can’t recall if Fabio was his godfather, and neither can he. LOL. Screw that we need to do them all at the same time; kill a ton of birds with one stone so to speak.
We joked that the priest will be like god damn! :P
Speaking of God and other randomness. Yesterday we needed to go and get printer paper, so we can make copies of Fabio’s medical records for various people, when as I was strapping Aidan into his car seat some lady came up to Fabio and started talking to him. And it was about God. She asked him if he was from around here, was he military, and if so did he find a church here yet? Fabio just kept shaking his head and saying “nah.” She seemed to get upset about this, “You don’t believe in GOD!” (In Fabio’s defense: he was just shaking his head and saying nah because he wasn’t interested in what she was saying and/ or scared of her. It’s not that he doesn’t believe in God. Besides she kept asking questions one after the other, and wasn’t giving him time to speak.) She then gave him a card and said something like I hope God saves your soul… it was something along those lines.
Now what’s note worthy about this is how CRAZY this woman looked. Fabio got in the car and was like DAMN!!! JOIN US!!!! (With his eyes wide open and his voice real flat.) This was how that lady appeared and spoke. She really looked more like a cult member then anything else. Imagine how those zombies talk in movies, really flat and monotone, with there eyes wide open, except… wait, now that I mention it… she was paler then a mother fucker… oh shit, in the words of Aidan, phew that was close!
