High Expectations
I had high expectations today. We went to Point Defiance Zoo and Aquarium and due to either false advertising or my not really paying attention to the commercials; I thought that I was going to get to be hands on with some animals… preferably a lemur. That didn’t happen. I thought wrong. It was a new exhibit; welcome here lemurs, not a new exhibit where you can touch them. Why I thought that I was going to get to pet a lemur is beyond me. But I must admit that I am a bit disappointed. Other then that minor set back the day was awesome. Just so you know; I took a good hundred or so photos. What does that mean for you? There’s some good stuff to come. We even went to the shark areas (we didn’t get to go there last time because Evie is terrified of sharks.)
In other news Calypso went to the vet today as well. He weighs 12lbs 12ozs, making him overweight. Now if you see Calypso overweight is not what I thought he was. Annoying yes, full of himself- without a doubt, spoiled even; but not overweight. He’s a fur ball! The vet recommended that I put him on a diet, cut back on some of his food. Seriously? Anyways, he got 3 shots today and has to go back for a booster next month.
More news for you all: Fabio’s jumped on and has become my personal trainer. LOL. Yeah I know. My entire body is sore it’s not even funny. I’m more of a cardio nut myself so this weight lifting stuff is hard ass hell. Here I’m all: I’m good with this 5 pound weight over here. He laughs, shakes his head and hands me a 20. Ok now 10, we get to 10 ok 5 more. LOL
