Everything they do is rough. Every time they move it's rough. Everything they talk about is the hard, down and dirty business of being cops and being men,. It's all pushing each other around and pinning each other to walls and throwing themselves on grenades and jumping over cars and firing guns. That's how their life goes. There's nothing gentle about it. There's not even anything gentle about the first kiss, the time when it finally breaks between the two of them and Steve's not licking so much as he's stabbing into Danny's mouth, and Danny's hands aren't closed around Steve's shoulders as much as they're squeezing them to a pulp. And then there was more manly denial and tough-guy silence and then a final grudging, slightly annoyed admission that yeah, OK, this is happening, they're gonna have to deal with it

Also, I may have been robbed of coherency by the porn. As in...I'm honestly struggling to come up with non-derpy feedback, having read this for the 4th time & feeling tingly all over for the 4th time.
